Hey, I am interested to listen to this podcast — and haven’t yet I must state. However I am turned off by the wording of help needed for the “hip hop culture.” I think thats innacurate in the way that its not the hip hop culture which needs “help” but violent people involved in crimes in vastly African-American Ghetto communities. Something more specific and politcally correct. The statement of “hip hop” culture feels ignorant. The hip hop culture is one of music, dance and people. The people who are involved with ghetto violence are the ones who need “help.”
Sincerely,
Megan, a caucasian 15 year old from Rochester, NY
We talk of how to fit in to the world and reach the lost but this is very dangerous unless we stand firmly on the Word of God and speak the Truth in understanding our weaknesses to find our strengths.
Many Christians by majority are getting caught up in the emotion of the Spirit in not knowing how to move forward in the Word of God due to men of God not speaking the real Truth in sin.
As a Christian we are taught to love the sinner but hate the sin and if we condone the sin then we are guilty of the sin. This is very vital to understand in true Christianity because if we are guilty of one then we are guiltyof all…Amen
My neighbor has a son who has an inspirational hip hop band. I think that’s great.
